A stunning 26 bedroom hotel and vineyard in the town of Franschhoek in South Africa.

Franschhoek is a traditional vineyard town in the Western Cape Province famously known as the French Corner of the Cape and is considered to be the food and wine capital of South Africa.

Escape to this picturesque corner of South Africa at the foot of the Klein Dassenberg Mountain Range for relaxation and a superb culinary experience accompanied by some outstanding wines.

The Mont Rochelle has 26 rooms including six suites all arranged around the main building.

As expected wine tasting is high on the agenda at Mont Rochelle. The wine tram is a popular way to see the town of Franschhoek whilst sampling some of the finest wines in the region. There are plenty of other activities to enjoy during your stay including hiking and for the thrill seekers mountain biking. For those needing a bit of down time the pool is the perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the Dassenberg Mountains followed by a spa treatment from our in house spa. From lawn games to tennis there's plenty of activities for everyone to get involved in.

The Miko Restaurant is the ideal setting for some fantastic gourmet meals including those for special occasions. We aim to showcase the very best produce and seasonal ingredients from South Africa paired with some excellent wine.

A favourite activity for many of our guests is picnicking on the estate – the kitchen can arrange a well-stocked picnic basket with a chilled bottle of wine (or two!). There are two restaurants, a cosy bar, a spa, a gym and a heated outdoor pool. That’s not forgetting a 39 hectare vineyard and wine cellar of course !
